The father in the modern world

"Father of the modern world" was the name of the All-Russian scientific-practical conference on April 27 in the Ural Humanities Institute.

Conferences, aroused great interest among the participants, who numbered about one hundred and fifty men, it is manifested in the numerous questions to the speakers, as well as express their own views on the issue of fathers, among them that: "My father - a verb, not a noun" .



The outcome of the conference was a resolution that highlighted the main decisions, namely:



• The problem of modern fatherhood is a new interdisciplinary area requiring special attention of scholars and practitioners at various levels;



• Addressing the problems of modern fatherhood, increasing the role of the father in the family will avoid a number of global problems of modern society, including reducing the role and value of the family, the prestige of successful parenting, reduced lifetime fertility and others;



• leading function is to educate the father of the younger generation, patriot, execution of which is associated with high levels of socio-psychological readiness of men to the realization of this mission and the need for special training (good fathers do not come);



• the task of building effective parenting, paternity must be addressed systematically and comprehensively, from pre-school age, combining with the task of polorolevogo development;



• Leading role in the formation of effective paternity belongs to the family as a group, which is for a child model and example for the formation of his own family and child-parent relationship.



Conference on "Father of the modern world", held in the Ural Humanities Institute, is the first step towards solving the global problems that seem intractable to date.
